Nothing compares to the sea of fashion displayed because everyone is trying to outshine everyone else. Now that I have filled you in on how festive this event is, I would like everyone on TikTok and Instagram to stop posting their Detty December post. “Come with me to get my hair done in Ghana for $2.” “Come party with me in Nigeria.” The rest of us can’t, ok? We didn’t go this year, and the tickets were too high for others. How dear you flood our TikTok pages with levels of enjoyment, you know we cannot reach ourselves. How dear you show quick snippets of Burna’s head and a piece of Wizkids’ jacket! When the rest of us can only see white from these snowstorms. I am calling on all the haters to join me.
