Spiritual Scammers

I got into the rabbit hole of spirituality. I have been exploited a lot. A lot of us are running away from religious boundaries. The church really has pushed a lot of us away, and rightfully so we ran. But right into the arms of the same snake with a different skin. The new spiritual personality is just a church pastor. They will use your desperation to make money. It is such a complex situation. It messes with your view of God. At least it did with me. Everywhere you look someone is reading tarot cards to you about someone who is stalking you. An ex-lover that is running back to you, that ex has been running back since 2020. So many general readings, of course, someone is going to relate to it. There are about 7 billion of us on this planet. I believe in tarot cards and spirituality. Not because anyone told me to believe in it, but because I believe in my experiences.

This still does not change the fact that the new popular spirituality is wearing the same cap as a lot of religions. Bunch of narcissists running around playing God in people's lives and taking their money. It really doesn't leave room for the real spiritualist to reach those who need help. There's a lot of fear-mongering too. A lot of you are chosen… blah blah blah. A lot of people are walking around thinking because they are suffering, they are chosen and special. I hate to break the news to them but they're not. You are just suffering; life is not fair. The funny thing is suffering ridiculously and never finding ease is a sign that you're not special or chosen by God. At least this is how I see it. I do believe there are people that have experiences that are unfortunate because of who they are. Just not this overplayed narrative. Find what works for you and feels good in your gut and reject the rest. No matter who is presenting it to you. Wishing we all find practices that bring us comfort and solutions.
