I Don’t Believe In Opening Your Third Eye
I don't believe in opening my third eye. If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have told you how I wanted to and how interesting the topic of spirituality was. But it does not interest me anymore, or at least in the same way. As someone that's interested or rather was interested in spiritual things, let me ask you this, what would you do when your third eye is open?
I'll tell you why I find it unnecessary for the masses to do this. In my experience the more you interact with spiritual topics, and you explore situations that you know nothing about, you find everything is out of your control. If you open up your spiritual eye and happen to meet a spirit or whatsoever is out there, would you know how to handle it? I believe people in cults and certain groups should interact with spiritual things like this. One, they know what they're doing and have a purpose for further interactions. But the regular everyday person should not, nor should they strive to. My definition of opening up your third eye is to interact with energies and entities that are not physical. There must be something to gain and definitely a lot that can be lost. The majority of people are not ready for that nor should they want to be. I'm a very curious person, and because I have experienced events like sleep paralysis I became curious about these mystical topics.
Well, that backfired. I found the more I engaged with such things, I had a lot of negative experiences and my life derailed in certain ways. Let's say the situation does not favor you as you venture off in your quest, what will you do? I strongly believe those in the physical should stay in the physical. You cannot fight spirits or negative energies. Even if you are not Christian or Muslim most people pray. You need an external force to help you. I have heard so many stories from other people who have played around with “new age spirituality”, all their lives are depressing and scary. They tapped into things that they didn't know how to handle, they walked into things without a purpose or understanding. Some keep living in theory, which is terrible. They have forgotten the real world and are living in a spiritual land that doesn’t exist.
It is easy to be carried away, you can easily think you know what you’re doing but most don’t. When messing with such topics it is fine to explore but I don't think the average person should dwell on it. Because if things get bad, you will not know how to pull yourself out of it. Leave it to those who are willing to do what they must do when the time comes. Most of us are not willing or able to suffer the consequences of interacting with things we cannot control physically. I really urge everyone to operate within the physical. Because of this, I have backed away from many spiritual curiosities. It is best to live a simple life and understand you don’t need to explore everything.
