Isaiah 62:4

Isaiah 62:4 (MSG)

“No more will anyone call you Rejected, and your country will no more be called Ruined. You’ll be called Hephzibah (My Delight), and your land Beulah (Married), because GOD delights in you and your land will be like a wedding celebration.”

Hephzibah = “My delight is in her.” → God looks at you and says, “You are My joy, My favorite, the one I smile over.”

Beulah = “Married.” → You are no longer single, exposed, or unprotected. God has bound Himself to you like a husband who never leaves, never forsakes, and fights for His bride.

To every person reading this who has been hurt: Your pain is real, but it does not get the final word. The One who made the universe just gave you a new name: “The one I delight in.” “The one I will never leave.”

You are not deserted. You are delighted in. You are not desolate. You are deeply, permanently loved.

That’s the promise. That’s the new name over your life today. Walk in it. Speak it. Believe it. Because God already has. 🙏🏾
